2019 Local League Convention Displays

To help celebrate “Looking Back / Moving Forward,” each local League is asked to prepare a small display of its own League history to share throughout the convention.

Many of you have Leagues with fascinating histories. Each League started at a different time, worked on different issues, and had talented leadership and members who went on to political office. Many of you are actively engaged already in your centennial planning; please share it with other Leagues at convention. We are very excited to see these fascinating stories.

Please prepare a display that can stand or be laid out in a 3- or 4-foot space.

For space planning purposes, please confirm that you will have a display with Cynthia Stewart, stewdahl@comcast.net.

Thank you for your advance work on this convention. It will be a wonderful start to our centennial year.

NOTE: Because these displays will take effort, we are going to save you some time by having a quilt raffle this year instead of the traditional basket silent auction. Your League will not need to prepare a basket to bring.
