In the Friday Harbor mayoral race the final two contenders are Evan Perrollaz, owner of a coffee roasting company and deputy superintendent of the local hospital district; and Emilio Santiago, cultural resources program specialist at San Juan Island National Historical Park.

Friday Harbor has a population of 2,747 and is the county seat, the only incorporated community in San Juan County and the economic center of San Juan Island.

The primary election is November 4, and the San Juan County Elections Office will be mailing ballots to Friday Harbor voters who live within town limits on October 16.
