Step Up! To Redistricting Reform (LWVWA)

Step Up! and join our movement to reform the way Washington State does redistricting.

Join this 2-hour training and received critical information about how you can make a difference in reforming redistricting. Local Area Action Teams are starting in every corner of our state.

Training topics will include local team development, redistricting reform talking points, community outreach strategies, the latest on the new legislative maps, and much more.

The 2021 Washington State Redistricting Commission failed to create maps that represent the people. A federal court just declared a Yakima Valley district discriminatory. The outreach process was muted because partisan interests prevailed behind closed doors. The people of Washington State deserve better. We deserve district lines that best represent the people of the state and give us the best chance to elect the representatives of our choice.

We want a People First Redistricting Commission.
