You are invited to a Race & Civic Engagement Dialogue Saturday morning, March 27, 9:30 am - Noon. Featured speakers are Merritt Long, local resident and author of the recently published, My View from the Back of the Bus, Ron Chew, Past Director of the Wing Luke Museum, and Judi Moore Latta, Ph.D., author of Beyond Roses—An Obligation to Speak.

Using the framework suggested by the speakers, attendees will participate in facilitated breakout groups that will encourage the telling of our own stories, listening to others, and engaging in conversations that heal the racial divide.

Initiated by the Asian Pacific Islander Coalition-South Puget Sound Chapter and Looking Back Moving Forward, cosponsors include the League of Women Voters of Thurston County, Heartsparkle Players-Playback Theatre Company, and Window Seat Media.

Register for this event here. Registration is through March 25th.
