Democracy Lobby Week 2021

Please Join the League of Women Voters of Washington
and Fix Democracy First 
February 22-26, 2021

This year we are going online, offering a powerful experience to advocate for democracy, with a focus on the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Over the course of the week, we will be meeting with legislators to advocate for bills that will protect our democracy. You will also:

• Hear from legislators and guest speakers
• Learn about critical democracy issues and bills
• Be trained by professional lobbyists
• Meet with your state legislators
• Network with others from your area

• All events will be recorded (except for legislator meetings). If you are not sure you can make it to one or more of the events, please register anyway, as all registrants will receive links to all events.

Monday, Feb. 22

Tuesday, Feb. 23 – Friday, Feb. 26

Optional virtual events throughout the week will include:

• Key issues in democracy – in Washington and nationwide
• Incorporating equity in all advocacy
• National democracy leaders
• Advanced advocacy skills
• And more

Thursday, Feb. 25

• Network/strategize with others from your area
• Meet with your state legislators

Friday, Feb. 26

• Debrief and Happy Hour
