LWVWA Centennial Council

  • 30 May 2020
  • Virtual

We will have a virtual council this year!

It will still be fun and informative from the comfort of your own home. All information will follow in the next few weeks.

Thank you for your patience.

When: May 2020 (dates TBD)
Where: Cyberspace

State Council is held on even-numbered years and is a time for networking and education for all members, especially local leaders. On odd-numbered years there is a State Convention, the purpose of which is to conduct League business, network and educate.

For now, we are not charging any fees as people register for Council. Once we reassess expenses, we will send out invoices to registrants requesting payment.

You want to go because you asked for...

Networking… virtual connection to find out who is doing something that you’re interested in, want to adopt or adapt; letting others know great things your league is doing; and creating ideas and plans to influence state-wide action in our education and advocacy work.

Low cost… Rate TBD

Essential information… Three tracks and guest speakers to ensure your League members know what and how to do League work in:

  • Membership leadership, development, volunteers, and retention
  • Advocacy, what works, what you can and can’t do; update on National and State work
  • Education, in the schools and in the community

(detailed schedule and sessions available soon)
