How do you want to make your voice heard in Olympia in the 2020 legislative session?

Action Workshop in Olympia is shifting its focus to help you do that!

Featured speaker will be Senator Jeannie Darneille, 27th Legislative District, speaking on "The Nuts and Bolts of Achieving Action through Legislation."

Former Senator Karen Fraser will follow with a discussion on the "Importance of Understanding Your Power for Action."

Other speakers will provide hands-on training for using websites to effective advocacy.

LWVWA Issue Chair presentations will include Democracy - Elections and Census/Redistricting, Climate Change/Water; Healthcare, Education Social Justice, Housing/Homelessness and Transportation. There will also be sessions on incorporating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into advocacy work. Lunch and all materials are included in the registration fee. On-site/day-of registration fee will increase to $40.
