Climate Change & Environmental Justice—It’s Time for Action!

How do you want to make your voice heard in Olympia in the 2020 legislative session?

Action Workshops include speaker and panel presentations, issue break out sessions, and lunch. In addition to Climate Change, LWVWA Issue Chairs including Democracy and Elections, Education, Gun Safety, Homelessness, Transportation, Healthcare will present. There will also be sessions on incorporating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion into advocacy work. Lunch and all materials are included in the registration fee. On-site/day-of registration fee will increase to $40.

Event begins at 9:30 a.m.

A limited number of scholarships are available if the registration fee would be a barrier to your participation. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov 5th.  Apply here.

In addition to the actual workshop, each League is offering the opportunity for Friday night homestays with local League members for those who might like to come in the night before. Send email request to lcraiglwv@yahoo.com.
