LWVSKC: Special Event with Author Elaine Weiss

The League of Women Voters of Seattle-King County invites you to a very special event with author Elaine Weiss in support of their Voter Services Program. Event proceeds will be shared with the LWVWA.

Weiss will discuss the themes of her new book, The Woman's Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote, which is being adapted for television by Steven Spielberg and Hillary Clinton. With archival images and historic scenes, Elaine will illustrate lessons learned from the suffrage movement, and of course, talk about how Carrie Chapman Catt envisioned the future of the League of Women Voters.
