November 6, 2018 General Election Ballot Measures

I-940, De-Escalate Washington, received the received the required signatures and went before the Washington State Legislature.  The Legislature had the option to take no action and instead let the initiative go to the ballot. Instead, they passed a compromise version of the bill and the interested parties will work together on implementation.  Read the press release from the organizers. 


I-1600, an initiative to launch Universal Health Care in Washington State, has been endorsed by the League of Women Voters of Washington. Organizers are working on gathering the signatures necessary to appear on the ballot.
