The contest deadline is midnight May 1, 2025, for both completed registrations and finished contest entries. Video production tutorials and guidance are available to all who register, so early registration is of real value.
The contest is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Washington, part of a 100-year-old non-partisan organization which focuses on education, voting and other issues important to our democracy.
Judging will be by a group, to include video professionals, election professionals and League members.
Our overall goal is to produce Public Service Announcement videos that LWVWA can use to promote election credibility to a broader audience. As a result, we hope to encourage students to learn and share accurate information about Washington state voting and elections, and to become active voters.
