The League of Women Voters-Jefferson County is still accepting questions for the upcoming October 7, 2021 Forum for the Port Townsend City Council Candidates.

Please submit your questions for the candidates to lwvjeffcowa@gmail.com no later than noon on October 5, 2021.

Concise, unbiased questions will be given priority, and some questions may be combined. Unless directed to a specific set of candidates, questions submitted will be balanced between the two sets of candidates.

We'd again like to thank our moderator, Janette Force, our co-sponsor, the American Association of University Women-Port Townsend, and our media partner, KPTZ 91.9 FM, Port Townsend's Community Radio.

Ballots for the primary election will be mailed July 14, and must be turned in by August 3. Residents who have not yet registered to vote may do so by mail on online until July 26. In-person voter registration is available at the Jefferson County Courthouse through close of business on August 3. Please see the Jefferson County Elections website for more information.

Curious about the League of Women Voters?

The Jefferson County Unit-At-Large focuses on Voter Education. Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16 who is willing to abide by our policies, as set forth by the League of Women Voters of the United States.

1. Political Policy

The League shall not support or oppose any political party or any candidate. You can still be active with any political party you choose, but while you are conducting League business, you leave your personal politics at the door. 

2. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy.
